about me

I’m Julia! I’m a junior at San Diego State University, thin crust pizza connoisseur and publicist of tomorrow, with dreams of traveling the world and rescuing senior dogs.

I’m studying abroad spring 2017 at the University of Marburg, Germany. Follow me as I eat, drink and laugh my way across Europe!

I am majoring in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and double minoring in international studies and English.

In addition to publishing my own content here on WITWIJ, I am contributing exclusive food-related content to SDSU’s Be International Blog.

I believe that in order to truly live and learn, one must immerse him/herself in the vast cultures that exist all over the world. The primary purpose of this blog is to invite friends, family, and loved ones to join the journey I am about to embark on.

In addition to taking four classes at the university, I’m conducting research on the effects of social media use on relations between brands and consumers. In my time there, I plan on visiting several other German cities, as well as a few other European countries.

Before classes begin in February, I’m going to London, Dublin, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Munich.

Welcome to my blog and I hope you are just as excited as I am to start this adventure!

xoxo,
Julia
